Auckland Zoo

Auckland Zoo is a renowned zoo, even earning many international awards. Its market is great, with many visitors but also many volunteers. However, the recent pandemic seems that the market and the level of visitors would have decreased. Its goal of sharing the view of life and biology is in trouble. To deal with this and the fact that the cost to maintain the zoo does not decrease, the solution for income and visitors is needed. So, the two marketing solutions are brought up.

The first is to lower the cost of groups, such as schools, couples, and families. This way, it will lead to a rise in visitors, and due to only a low deduction of the original price of the zoo, the zoo gets more visitors and the visitors will come in greater numbers. The promotion would be aimed at bringing an educational but also entertaining time for lived does, its students, and families. To maintain the increase in visitors, promotion for volunteering should be made. To promote, the zoo would imply and say that volunteering would “Help to clean, help, and manage the zoo and its animals”.

Second, the zoo should work with other businesses to gain extra revenue due to the low quarter of the pandemic. The zoo would offer advertisements and such for the business. The business would be advertised to the influx of visitors while the zoo would receive the much-needed extra revenue for only putting up signs and posters. With these two marketing plans, the zoo could achieve greatness, have enough revenue to maintain its activities, and share with the community.
